This vintage cuckoo clock has been in our family for well over 100 years and was a prominent feature in my mother-in-law's home before her death. It's awe-inspiring to imagine all of the events—births, marriages, deaths, holidays, birthdays, reunions, and so many more occasions—for which it marked time. It has now been handed down to one of the granddaughters who displays it prominently—and lovingly—in her own home, so that it can continue to mark all the happy and sad events in her family's life.
