The Valley of Fire State Park in southeastern Nevada is a wonderfully colorful place filled with geological features sculpted over the æons by wind, rain, and who knows what other forces. A must-see destination when in the US Southwest. It's also very near Zion National Park in southwestern Utah (which is actual more beautiful, imho :) ).
