Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in the magical PNW at First Beach, La Push.
Time
This was at about 2pm in the afternoon
Lighting
The lighting was actually very even in the photo but during the edit I felt one side of the rocks should be a bit darker for effect.
Equipment
For this photo I used a Mavic Pro drone
Inspiration
To be honest, this was one of those pleasant surprises when I got back home. I went for a test flight and was actually recording the whole time. When I figured that out I stopped and took a few pictures on accident. This happened to be one of those pictures!
Editing
All kinds; For starters I only use Photoshop. I start with basic adjustments in CameraRaw, and then move to Luminosity Masking. Sometimes I will paint in brightness or darkness depending on the photo. Every photo is different but those are my basic beginning adjustments.
In my camera bag
Sony A7RII/ FE 24-70mm GM; a tripod; Mavic Pro Drone.
Feedback
Bring several drone batteries! 30 minutes of flight seems like a lot but when you are trying to get a certain shot those batteries seem to just keep dying. So having a few extra might be just what you need!
