It was about mid afternoon.Lighting
The light was natural light with a small reound reflector bouncing back some light into here face. The light was soft as it was almost partial shade.Equipment
I used my canon 5d and 24-105mm kit lens.Inspiration
I was in a workshop with some colleagues. Here the model was taking a break and I loved how she was looking. So natural. So I just asked to take her pic and she obliged.Editing
I only did basic post processing. The model is beautiful. She did not need much work. The natural light was excellent.Very small amount of editing was used.In my camera bag
I try to carry as little as possible. Just one lens and my camera. The odd spare batteries and memory cards. The days of carrying a heavy backpack are long gone. Unless for some specific reason.Feedback
Have fun with it and be on the look out for good oportunities. If in a photography workshop, look out for moments when no one else is shooting. That way you can get the model to yourself and she will be more at ease.
