This photo was taken in my garden when I got home from an afternoon party, hence the face painting!Time
It was towards the end of the day, around 5.30/6pm and the light was soft.Lighting
There is only natural daylight in this shot.Equipment
My Nikon D3500, Nikon lenses, 35mm 1.8G, 50mm 1.8D, 70-300mm 1:4.5-56G and tripod...thats all! I need to invest in some more stuff!Inspiration
I was attempting to get across an alluring look..I simply wanted to make the most out of the face painting I'd had done earlier that day and saw a quick opportunity.Editing
Ha..I dont own any flashy editing software, the lens I used already gave a wonderful brokeh effect... but I did do a few tweaks on contrast and vibrancy with the free Pixlr app.In my camera bag
Nikon camera and several lenses. I like to travel light and make the most of natural light..however I have light boxes and flash kits at home, tripods etcFeedback
Find a good spot where the light is right, dont get too hooked up on hair/makeup...then just imagine what your trying to create and speak it through your eyes...simple !:)
