Near Datteln, Germany, lives one of the thickest beeches in Europe with a circumference of about 750 cm, aged around 350 years.
In the last months i seem to have really bad luck with the weather and the light in those rare moments I find some time to go photographing, all the magic happens when I am at work or have to care for my kids.
I will definitely visit this beautiful and impressive tree again, then hopefully clouded in mist with some nice low and soft light.
