I've been in a bit of a rut lately with editing. It's hard to explain what that is and means, but it's incredibly frustrating to know what you want to produce and not be able to produce.

But ooooh boy, I was ecstatic after producing this image. It's pulling me out of my self-hatred of my own work. I love this image and I'm so excited to share it.

The Redwoods are one of my favorite places. This fallen tree made for a unique scene. The tree has folded up the hillside in between two other massive redwood trees.

The redwoods are special because of the unique sound, or lack of it, but also, they are super fun to photograph because even mid-morning light is awesome and provides that unique and colorful lighting.

I hope you enjoy this image and it brings back memories of your own adventures!
