Oh the coast...

When you want insane conditions you are met with hot, still, and clear. That’s usually how it goes. But it doesn’t have to ever meet expectations, simply because no matter the conditions it’s always a worthwhile experience.

Especially when you hanging with homies like Jasman Lion Mander who pushes to go out at 3 am to explore shots like this. We looped this hike once before sunset and then late at night making our way to a location Jas has had his eyes set on for a while. That image to come.

Woke up in my bed at 2 am, was shooting on the coast and redwoods alongside Gary Randall and @jasmanmander by 8 am. Fast forward 24 hours of cruising around and hiking and exploring and you have this image. A long 30 hour awake time dedicated purely to photography. What a great day!

BTW I’m in love with the nikon z6 and 14-30 z lens. So much fun and so much easier to shoot and hike with!
