We were driving south on Idaho 51 about 30 miles south of the Mountain Home Air base when we saw this unusual black spot on the hill in front of us. As we got closer we realized it was a helicopter. We later learned it was an air national guard chopper from California that had experienced a hard landing. It was still there two days later.
