Location
The photo was taken in Niagara, Ontario, CanadaTime
one of my friend and I was traveling to Niagara for photo hunt of the falls in the winter. It was freezing cold at the beginning of the January 2018. the natural light was not that good in the morning. I took that shot around midday.Lighting
I waited for the ambient light comes to the opposite side of the falls. It is very important to plan to shot landscape. need to find out the time of the light direction of the location/subject.Equipment
I used my Canon 6D with 70-200 lens. I kept my aperture f16 to get the detail of the fall. ISO was 200 and the shutter was 1/250.Inspiration
I always wanted to capture the frozen falls. somewhere I saw one photo of frozen falls which was so mystic.Editing
I use adobe photoshop to process my photo. in this photo, I did some color and light correction during the process. In my camera bag
I use to carry Canon 6D with 24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8 and 17-40 f4 in my bag. also, keep one remote shutter release and a tripod for long exposure.Feedback
Need to know the weather condition and warm clothes for that type of shot. My hands were freezing even though I was wearing two pairs of hand gloves.
