Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the campus of my college, Middle East Technical University, in Ankara, TURKEY.

Time

It was almost noon.

Lighting

Since it was a snowy winter day, the sky was filled with clouds and a bit of sunlight could pass through them.

Equipment

Canon 5D Mark II body and Canon 24-105mm L IS USM Lens.

Inspiration

This was the path itself which inspired me. It was covered in full of white and it was not possible to see its end.

Editing

Yes, a bit of sharpening to emphasise the surreal effect of the scene and some color editing.

In my camera bag

Nowadays, I have Fujifilm X-Pro 2 and 35mm f/2 for my go to setup.

You should use Manuel setting for snow shootings and be careful at white balance.
