Location
This was taken on the famous Bir-Hakeim Bridge in Paris, across the Eiffel Tower.Time
It was late night.Lighting
The existing light bulbs of the bridge were the only source to enlighten the bridge's columns and the car lights had the main role in this photo.Equipment
This was shot by Canon 5D Mark II and 24-105mm L lens mounted on a tripod in order to use slower shutter speed to create the light effects.Inspiration
The texture of the metal columns of the bridge and the lights of the cars passing away were my main interests in this photo. By using a tripod and slower shutter speed, I have created light tails to emphasise the fast cars and played with lights.Editing
I have only played with colours. I have eliminated unnecessary tones to have a minimalistic two colour palette. In my camera bag
My go to equipment is my Fujifilm X-T1 and 35mm f2 prime lens on. Since I love street photography, it is an ideal compact and minimalist set up for every day photography. However, for long photography days I carry my heavy Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 24-105mm IS L lens.Feedback
You should have at least a simple tripod to mount the camera since you need step down your shutter speed.
