2/18/18 7:29 AM on a Sunday morning.....probably 40 minutes after sunrise......a quick moving front dusted the ground and was breezy enough to coat the snow fence in the entrance. I recall that the sun just cleared the clouds off shoreLighting
Lot of white on shore and the sun was just clearing the clouds.....rapidly changing conditions and I was shooting a lot. Sun is just out of the shot but somewhat under controlEquipment
Canon 6D/16-35L....Breakthrough Photo 3F ND filter on....all staples for meInspiration
Always amazed at the opportunities at the coast line.....creative opportunities related to snow, wind and where the rain/snow line is don't come along all that often. I got up saw the scene and knew it was perfect. The snow was there maybe an hour.Editing
Lightroom....Presence sliders all +, highlights ++ on tone and -- on the highlight slider in the tone curveIn my camera bag
Do mostly landscapes....6D/16-35L II are always together to start also have a Tamron 28-300F3.5/6.3 PZD. Always have BTP 3F and 6F ND with me and a Bower UV filter. Just got a Peak Design TT travel Tripod which I'm really liking.Feedback
Shooting sunrise/set always challenge....in this case keeping the sun just out of frame worked out. When conditions present....shoot a lot. took 70 shots in just under 5 minutes and got a lot of different looks and lighting. Probably did edits on 80%. It was a very cool morning
