Location
I took this particular photo near London bridge in LondonTime
I think it was around 11:30am just before lunchtime.Lighting
It was a pretty typical, nondescript, slightly overcast day in london.Equipment
I used my iphone 6Inspiration
I was already en route to photograph another destination and I was just passing by this particular buiding. I had seen it often in the past but it never ocurred to me to photograph it yet when I looked up at the angles, the design and the way the glass played with the light, I knew I had to capture it.Editing
I just applied a mild enhancement filter using CreativeKit's software suite. In my camera bag
As some of you already know, I carry the following kit: Canon EOS Rebel XS 1000D with the standard kit lens 18-55mm, a 70-300mm lens, a Velbonn tripod (grrr), a small tupperware case comprising batteries, memory cards, cables, an olio clip lens (fish eye, wide) for my iphone, lens cleaner, a tube of deep heat, some headache tablets and maybe some bottled water. You'll be happy to read that some nice men in hazmat suits finally took that half eaten baguette away. In the space previously occupied by the aforementioned baguette, I have now added a Canon SX Powershot with dedicated macro lenses which I got for very, very cheap from a local charity shop.Feedback
it is easy to pass interesting architecture by. Goodness knows I have done so many, many times. We are surrounded by it and we invariably take it for granted. I can only suggest you slow down and really "look". Block out all and any distractions and, as you are looking, experiment with angles in your mind. And then...try them out. You might be surprised as to the result. I know I was.
