Minimalism is indeed the art of less. In today's visually-saturated world, the simplistic style of minimalist photography offers visually-soothing results - with plenty of breathing room. Minimalism provides a refreshing visual break from the constant flood of information, and visual noise that we face every day. This photo is exactly as it came from the camera, absolutely no editing in camera or off camera. I love the play of the shadows on the picnic table and the sun lighting up the orange.

There is, in a lot of cases a fine line between minimalism, still life and macro photography, so much so, that it is possible for a photograph to fall into two or even all three categories. This photo was made with minimalism as the driver-theme for this composition.
