Location
This shot was taken back in 2015 at the Lake Thun in Switzerland.Time
It was in the afternoon during a walk with a close Friend of mine and her Dog.Lighting
No not really. It was a cloudy and cold afternoon.Equipment
The Camera was the Sony A7 II coupled with the Sony FE90/2.8G OSS Macro.Inspiration
Back in 2015 - I just started with photography - I bought that Macro lens. During the walk at the Lake I just spotted this little feather at the shore. My friend Ramona held the feather and droped a drop of water from the lake on it. Thats it, one of my very first macro shots was captured. I rarely do macros. I'm much more into landscapes. I should do macros more often.Editing
Just some Lighroom adjustements. Not much. I sharpened it and did some whitebalanced and contrast adjustements. Basic stuff. In my camera bag
The Sony A7RII with the Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 , the Sony A6000 with the 70-200 f/4 mounted. For nightshots I switched my Samyang 14mm with the LAOWA 15mm f/2 Zero D - an Amazing Lens! And there is also the Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 and the Sony Sonnar T 35 mm F/2.8 in my bag. Oh and I also carry a Mavic Pro all the time. I love to take aerial shots!Feedback
You don't need to travel for Macrophotography. Just open your eyes for the small things, there are many micro universes that can be discovered. I often forget this and I try to remember that more and more again.
