Butterfly of the Philippines

When I first discovered this butterfly I thought it was a small bird. It was at quite a distance and in the tops of the trees. I climbed a small hill to get up to the level of the tree tops and the butterfly. Even from this vantage point the butterfly was still at quite a distance so I couldn't get the closeup shot I really wanted. Because the butterfly was in the very tops of the trees it never really ever stopped flapping it's wings the flowers were always moving in the breeze.
