Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at the Condo we rented in Kapalua Maui Hawaii

Time

I took this when we returned from snorkeling in the late afternoon, It was just one of many blooms around the property, however this one just stood out and I had to capture it in its natural light

Lighting

Just natural light late afternoon

Equipment

This was shot hand held with a cell phone camera actually. We were returning from the beach, I didn't have my camera with me as it was in our room and the cell was handy.

Inspiration

Some images just come to you and you see them in your mind before you snap the shutter, this was one of those. I just knew it was a image that had to be captured.

None

In my camera bag

I still shoot film and have not ventured into digital. I have an old Cannon AE-! and a Bronica 2 1/4 many lenses, filters. I actually love black and white and have a complete black and white darkroom.
