Upon arriving at a high perch above Silver Jack Reservoir near Ridgway, Colorado, I witnessed one of the most interesting light displays of my life - this narrow but intense beam of sunlight lit up the entire horizon below the clouds and terminated at Chimney Rock, all above a wonderful display of changing aspen trees. What an amazing sight to behold.
