I took this image when I was out walking after a snow storm in the town of Hampton, New Hampshire. It's a good thing I'd taken a camera along or I would have missed this shot. Walking past Pine Grove Cemetery, the afternoon sun was coming out, low on the horizon, and as the wind was scattering the snow from the tree limbs, it produced these wonderful rays as it scattered the sunlight.Time
I captured this at about 4, or so, in the afternoon, in about mid-February.Lighting
The interaction of the afternoon setting sun, with the snow falling from the tree branches created this wonderful light. I guess I was in the right place at the right time.Equipment
I used my old Pentax K-50 with the standard 17-55mm lens.Inspiration
I sometimes like to go out walking after snow storms to try an catch nice Winter scenes. This one was down to pure chance.Editing
I mostly use RawTherapee or Corel AfterShot Pro 3 (if I don't quite like what I'm getting with one, I try the other), just to enhance the base properties of the images. When I can, I prefer to do as little post processing as possible, in order to maintain the aspects that were already present in the images.In my camera bag

This may sound trite, but allow yourself to be present in the moment. Go for walks and always bring your camera along.
