The location for this shot is the mountains on the state line between Utah and Nevada. You can see a small portion of the Bonneville Salt Flats. A few miles from here is the city of Wendover. I was there in November to search for agates which I will slice, cut, and polish to be made into custom jewelry. The weather was cold and slightly windy. This shot was late in the afternoon casting long deep shadows in which I was standing.
