Location
This photo was taken in Las Salinas, Torrevieja. Spain. It is a salty lake with no depth. This place always surprise me with the beautiful color that produces at sunset... lake turns pink because of the algae in the bottom.Time
This picture was taken during the summer, at night... problem with this time was mosquitoes, so after i took this picture we had to run to the car (and yes, we were protected with cream, but it was not enough).Lighting
Sunset is perfect at this location. I took the picture just a few seconds before the sun hide under the horizon. Thats the way i had this lighting over the model. After this i darkened the sky on photoshop before i added the milky way and the stars.Equipment
For this picture i used my Nikon D800 and a 35mm, 1.4, which allowed me to bring a good part of the sky into the composition.Inspiration
I imagined this picture while we were taking a photoshoot of her (for her book as a model). Then we waited after the shooting for the lighting i needed and took the picture.Editing
I added the Milky way and the stars (and also its reflections on the lake) in the post work. The model has an ajustment on the skin tones to blend better with the rest of the colors. In my camera bag
I load the bag with anything i need to create the image i have on my mind... nly thing it remains the same in every picture is my Nikon D800 and IphoneXFeedback
For an image like this you have 2 options: you can learn to shoot the milky way and have, at least, a flash and a tripod in your bag. Or you can learn photoshop or any editing image software, and add the elements afterwords. If you choose the second option, you will need to search the backgroubnd first, so the lighting, the colors and the composition blend well together in the post time.
