This shot was taken near the Lummi ferry dock in Bellingham, WA. Rain clouds in the distance loomed above Vancouver Island, but the sun was able to shine through the far end of the storm, creating this dynamic effect. The rain back lit by the sun created a wispy effect on the horizon, in the zoom lens it looked like mini tornadoes of rain! Lummi Island is to the left.
