Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Easton, MD, USA. I attended the annual Waterfowl Festival Raptor Demonstration.

Time

It was mid-day when I took this photo. Sun was bright. I was at a good angle.

Lighting

The lighting at that time of day and the sunshine made the detail of the bird stand out.

Equipment

I used my Canon EOS 80D; 100-400mm lens on a monopod; Apeture f/5.6 - exposure 1/500 - focal length 400/1 - ISO: 400

Inspiration

The beauty and detail of this bird just drew my immediate attention.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

I usually have a Canon 80D and T6i camera with me and a 100-400mm Canon lens along with a 18-200mm lens; tripod and monopod.

Feedback

I actually find my best photos appear when I least expect it. Patience, attention, and quick clicking when necessary usually win out. :-)
