Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on Ste-Hélène island in Montréal. It is the site where Expo'67 was held over 50 years ago.

Time

That shod was taken in the afternoon as the sun was starting to get low in autumn and enhancing the yellowing trees in the backgrond

Lighting

With that sun hitting the background trees giving that punch of light, I knew I had to get low and get those floating leaves in the foreground

Equipment

This was taken with my Olympus E-M1 Mark II coupled with the M Zuiko12-40mm F2.8 Pro lens. 1/80 F11 @ 40mm ISO640

Inspiration

The inspiration for these kind of shots comes naturally as I walked through parks and forest , etc.

Editing

Slight processing to make the colors punch out more!

In my camera bag

Olympus E-m1 Mark II with my 12-40mm 2.8 is my everyday goto setup, and I also carry my 60mm 2.8 macro, and a 75-300mm zoom lens.

Feedback

Go out and walk and shoot! That's the only advice I can give! :-)
