Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in the Apuseni mountains of Transylvania.

Time

It was the middle of autumn when the colors in the mountains are splendid. I was climbing in the middle of the day from the Somesului Rece valley to a mountain village.

Lighting

The light was not the most suitable for photography, the sky being cloudy.

Equipment

I did not use a professional device: Canon PowerShot SX30 IS; aperture f/4.5, ISO 80, shutter 1/200, focal length 17036/1000.

Inspiration

The beauty of the mountain, the drunkenness of colors that surrounds me, the peace and solitude around me made me believe that this is the road to heaven.

Editing

As the light is not the most suitable to reproduce the beauty of the colors, I accentuated the contrast and saturation.

In my camera bag

I usually take pictures on my bike trips so I bring a small camera with me without accessories. Now for example I use a Canon PowerShot SX720 HS.

Feedback

A trip to the mountains in autumn will give you the opportunity to admire the spectacle of colors that this season offers every year, and the images captured with the camera will give you unforgettable memories.
