I took this photo at Honeoye Lake in western New York state at the end of summer. The lake was quiet, and the weather was already starting to change. It struck me as peaceful and lonely at the same time, much like the feeling of transition between summer days and the life change that comes with autumn.Time

I was inspired by the feelings created by the end of summer--anticipation, excitement, change, melancholy The lone canoe tied up by an empty dock in front of the empty lake created that feeling for me.Editing
I used Enlight to bring out colors in the clouds and dehaze the sky. I used the tilt effect function to blur out the distance and focus on the line of sight of the canoe.In my camera bag
