The end of summer and the leaves of bushes in the forest seem so tender against the dark, rough bark of giant Douglas Firs. An image that uses contrasts to build its message. Light against dark, soft and delicate against massive and rough. Even the lean of the tree adds a strong chord behind the light lilting bush forms that trip across the image. Yes, it is reality, but a carefully chosen and orchestrated selection.
