This is a Bald Eagle that I watch for several weeks. There were two eagles nesting in a tree in front of a school. One morning just after I got there another photographer showed me pictures she had just taken. It seems a hawk was after the egg in the eagles nest. She had pictures of the eagle grabbing the hawk and taking it to the ground. The tree was 40 to 50 feet talll. She told me both flew away but the eagle returned a bit later. When I got there and took this shot the eagle had his-her eye watching the sky...
