Curaçao is an island country in the southern Caribbean Sea off the coast of Venezuela. I had just gotten out of the water after scuba a scuba dive and only had my underwater camera. I was not sure if it would come out but was happy with the result.

I took this picture on the Dutch side of Curacao.Time
This picture was taken about 2 PM on a hot day after scuba diving.Lighting
These wonderful ladies were sitting under an umbrella. I believe the umbrella help even out the lighting. The camera has a built in flash unit but it is covered with black electrical tape and I use and external flash that has a higher guide number than the one in the camera.Equipment
I had just finished a dive and was carrying my fins/mask/camera. I was using a Olympus C7070WZ. The camera was in a watertight case with and external flash.Inspiration
The colors drew my attention. I talked to the ladies for a few minutes and got their permission to take their picture.Editing
The only post-processing was chopping. There was a fence on the left side of the picture which I copped out. Being the camera was still in the watertight case it is awkward shoot and the viewfinder made it hard to compose this picture.In my camera bag
I normal shoot a Nikon D800. I have several zoom lenses from 17mm to 500mm. This day I only had underwater camera gear.Feedback
Be ready to capture any shot with what you might have with you. I have used my cellphone, and underwater camera on a few occasion. So being ready for the special shot is important.
