We have an apple tree in our backyard that has been there for more than twenty years. As far as I know, it has never really been harvested due to high infestations. It is still very beautiful, and over the last few years I have gone out in hopes of finding a few apples that are bug free. Unfortunately, this year I was only able to find a couple despite the high yield. This is a risk taken when leaving things completely organic.
