This is the paired picture to Just a Little Sip, and the wood duck in question. Truly a wonderful, natural work of art, this wood duck belongs to a family that we have watched grow all summer long in our backyard. He was very timid, one sudden move on my part he would fly to another part of the pond, only to come back in fifteen minutes or so when he felt the coast was clear again. The thick foliage around the ponds are good for something after all!
