Our big modified Sears tent is a treat if we find a sheltered place to anchor but if the wind gets up in the night Heather and i stow it away. I have used the line work to convey the sense of emergency. There were plenty of times we stowed the tent early and slept under the stars or if it rained we pulled a tarp up over our heads. Rough living ? Yes, but it was this experience that made this trip meaningful.
