After photographing for a good while I deciding that I was happy with the images I got, So I was just about to let her be, and she made a dash. she stopped at the edge of a steep slope and coiled up. The just setting sun cast a gold light upon her. So, I couldn't help but get a few more photographs.

Largest rattle snake I've yet photographed so close!
This, surprisingly calm, pink snake is nearly 3 feet long.
And I'm Still pulling in for that supper close up shot.

(DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLICATE!)

Photographed with the 50mm STM mounted on the 1:1 Converter.
