Adult Female
Poecilotheria are an Arboreal genus of tarantulas from India and Srilanka, Suffering from various forms of habitat loss. However, great efforts are being made for captive breeding in the pet trade, of various countries on both sides of the Atlantic.
I myself helped produce over 100 babies, many of which were sold and traded into the hobby. This is the mother.
