Summer is one of the best times to spot the Harbor Seals in the waddenzee, the big coastal see between the coast of Holland and the islands north of it. Harbor seals have pups from May to June so they do spend a lot of time on shore on the tidal flats. This one was on it's way to join a group of others already basking.
