The Natterjack Toad grows to be around 6 cm. This little youngster was about 4 mm. So a long way to go still. Although relatively wide spread in Europe they are also endangered due to habitat destruction and late breeding. Natterjacks prefer sandy areas and breed in ponds that dry out in for instance the dunes. But they are one of the best looking frogs and toads in Europe!
