This was taken in April 2017. Spring tulips brought around Easter photographed in my backyard.

Inspiration

The flowers were a beautiful pink shade. right at their peak bloom. I wanted to capture the softness of the petals without any detracting background details.

Editing

no post processing was done

Feedback

Know when the plant you want to photograph is at peak season. Flowers in spring go to a garden center and pick colors or flowers that haven't bloomed yet. Anticipate when your plant will bud and try and get soft background light or a neutral background that doesn't have any distracting details. Natural light is best.. Follow growing instructions for your plants, be it water, shade or full sunlight.
