Location
This photo was taken in North Vancouver, more specifically at the Lonsdale Quay. The day was grey and uninteresting, and I stopped for a beer as I had given up on photography for the afternoon. The landscape was just too dull. While taking this break, the clouds began opening and the sun started coming out. I don't think I finished my beer, as I rushed out to capture what you see. Fortunately the pub had floor to ceiling windows and I could see what was happening outside.Time
The image is time stamped, which I have not consulted, but as I recall it was somewhere around 4:00pm.Lighting

I responded to the situation.Editing
I don't clearly remember the post-processing, but with the landscape as grey as it was there was probably little other than fooling with the contrast and brightness. In my camera bag
I usually travel with a telephoto lens 150-600mm, a wide angle lens 12-24mm, and a standard 24-120mm lens.Feedback
Even when the day seems like a waste of time, keep looking, and stay ready, this landscape changed in less time than it took for me to rink a beer.
