South Florida, USA. A thunderstorm was brewing in the distance lighting up the horizon and causing interesting light painting across the water. The Milky Core was still low in the sky at this latitude at midnight. On the left, you can see an air boat's headlights far away. It was low tide and I learned the next day that air boat actually got stuck in the mud. In the sky, You can make out Andromeda (our closest galactic neighbor) and the rings of Saturn. This image is composed of 16 vertical exposures - each at ISO5000, 16mm, F2.8, 25 seconds. I stitched them together with Lightroom and did only minor white balance retouching.
