In my "Women By The Water"-challenge there was a lot of strong contributions, however this was the one I had to accept as the winner of the total of four personal favorites. Very nice work, I like it a lot. It is strong and sensual, yet not vulgar - but maintains some important good taste.

I took the photo in Barberino Di Mugello. More exactly, I took it on the shores of Lake BilancinoTime
The photo was taken around 5 pm in 2017-05-06 when the sun was already clouded by the clouds and the girl was completely in the shade. The light of the water forced me to work in post-productionLighting
The lighting is totally natural and even accentuated. I was forced to an under-exposure of the subject and then lighten it. At the same time I had to darken the background that had come to be poorly defined.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5 equipped with the 85 f.1.4 Nikon. I used the maximum aperture with ISO 500 and 1/1250 shutter speed. The shot was made freehand and without the use of flash.Inspiration
The inspiration was given to me by the strong contrast of the model's dress (and hair). In fact, the strong light reflected on the water has created a kind of counter-light. And I love the counter light! I made the model move while the wind started blowing, threatening a storm (then occurred). The rest is the result of the beauty of the subject and the smooth movements.Editing
First I developed the raw file by darkening the background and lightening the girl. Afterwards I created a level with Ps and accentuated the contrasts on water and mountains in the distance. To finish with Color Efex I used the Brillance Warmth filter to give more heat to the model's skin.In my camera bag
My current equipment consists of Nikon D5 and Nikon D850. The goals that are always with me are 14-24 f2.8; 24-70 f.2.8; 70-200 f.2.8 and 85 f.1.4. All Nikon Depending on the type of shots that I'm going to do, we also join the 105 Macro and the 2x focal duplicator.Feedback
I'm always going to experiment and take pictures even when the photographic rules would say no. The light behind the subject was very strong and the subject was dark in both clothing and hair. Normally it would be recommended to use flash but ...... I do not like it. I then ventured a shot that goes against the normal rules trying to find the right compromise that would allow me (later) to process the image in post production. In these situations (not sure what the right exposure could be) I set the breketing with 5 shots so you can then choose the one with the most suitable exposure to make the image.
