THis photo, that makes me so happy, was shot in my kitchen.Time
It was on an early Spring Sunday morning.Lighting
Natural lighting is my favorite, bar none. So , natural it was. I used light coming in from my back door.Equipment
I used a Canon Rebel xTi with a tripod in completely natural light. The only other thing I used for this photo was a piece of black foam board as the background.Inspiration
On Saturday I bought these gorgeous tulips and put them in this pitcher. I woke up on Sunday morning...it weas sunny, I looked at the tulips and thought "how beautiful"....a foundation of my life is sharing the beauty I see....there it was in front of me. I grabbed my camera and had a great time capturing this slice of life.Editing
I cropped and lightened it a bit...not a big fan of much post-processing.In my camera bag
I carry my Canon Rebel, a telephoto lens, a macro lens and a wide angle lens. I also generally have a 50nn lens. I keep a tripod in the car with me, or in my house.Feedback
It's the little things in life that warm my heart....the simple daily things. I do my best to keep my heart and eyes open. I am not a big tech person....but I am always looking to capture the simple beauty in life. Take a peek at what is in your life today. In addition....I take at least one photo every day....it's been a wonderful practice.
