This are wild edible Morel Mushrooms.
Do not confuse these with "False" Morel's, which are toxic when eaten in quantity or over an extended period of time.....Always make sure that whatever it is that you gather from either your yard or from the forest is SAFE to eat. Do this BEFORE eating any wild plant, or Fungi, as many can be VERY poisonous and some can even be quite
deadly. The Morel mushrooms shown in my photo are both edible and very tasty, especially when stuffed or sautéed with butter, garlic, pepper, salt, and lemon!
