Dear Barbara: thanks for writing, Tarsiers are fairly rare, they are only found at one place in the Philippines and another place in Indonesia. Yes, so lovely, tiny, and shy. :)

Tarsiers are very shy and usually spend their days sleeping while running and playing at night so it was a lucky catch in daylight. Thanks for mentioning that! :)

Dear Amanda: Getting a picture of a tarsier is not easy, they are small, shy, and sleep during the day. This was a very lucky shot. Thanks for noticing, they are adorable, for sure! :) :)

Looks a little like an aye-aye found in Madagascar also very endangered. Cuter than cute though. Great photo.
