It was bright but the clouds did difuse the light a little and reflect on the wet sandEquipment
My trusty old Canon Eos1200D with its stock lens, nothing fancy. Hand held no tripod.Inspiration
It felt like a classic english beach shot, fishing boats and a nice long pier. But the best part was the lack of people, other than the fishermen and their boats it was just me, the wife and my camera.Editing
100% of my images are processed in photoshop, mainly to add colours and textures using a combination of multple layers to create the look and feel that I am happy with. In this case in this case using the fliter gallery, camera raw and masking. In my camera bag
Today i still carry my 1200D, but now manily use a EFS 18-135mm or a Tamron SP 70-200 along with a ND filter, Zomei tripod and cable release.Feedback
Many of my earlier images were spontanteous and unplanned. This is great fun as you never know what you will end up with. But now I mostly plan a series of images based on knowledge of the area Im visiting and will go with a specfic style in mind, such as my recent visit to Patterdale to capture autumn trees.
