Taken on a private estate in Patterdale near Ullswater.

Lighting

There was some cloud cover which softened the light and it was further diffused by the tree canopy.

Equipment

Camera was on a tripod, 4 stop ND filter using a cable release.

Inspiration

The photo was Inspired by the movement of water over the rocks and the contrast of the black rocks with the white water.

Editing

Post processing in photoshop to enhance the contrast between the rocks and water.
