I was not ready for this sight when I went for a snorkeling day trip to this little island off the coast of Zanzibar, with just my iPhone. These Giant Tortoises inhabiting the island are part of a species that is continuously under threat of extinction. The oldest Aldabra Tortoise in Changuu is estimated to be 193 years old.
