The 4-ship formation of the U.S. Air Force Demonstration Team known as the Thunderbirds point their F-16's to the heavens and streak through the mid-afternoon skies. Huge amounts of flare, often the ruin of a photo, created a unique look to this shot - and yes, I was NOT looking through the lens viewfinder during this shot! It's extremely dangerous to do so.
