I carved all of these, the fishing boat on the crest of a wave, the duck to float in my pond and the wooden bowl. Now, for the sake of an interesting photo i added my fine carving tools, but in reality I used a circlet cutter, band saw and belt sander. A little like making photographic images, it is the final result that matters in the end, not the means of getting there.
