In this usually dark heavily shaded place it can be difficult to persuade the camera to capture what my eyes can easily perceive. This time the light worked. Working with light is the basic tool in photography. In designing the frame I had to look for some strong lines and forms within the criss-crossed mess of trunks and branches.
